I was born in London, England, and spent a lot of my childhood in that city during the war. I have
spent most of my life in uniform. First as a RNR cadet at HM School Ship Conway and went to sea in
Union Castle Line as Bridge Cadet. Failing the eyesight test could no longer stay at sea, was called up
for National Service in the Royal Air Force. After two years transferred to the RCAF and completed
31 years retiring as Warrant Officer. I was then commissioned to work with Cadets and did a further 11 years finishing up as the Commanding Officer of the Seaforth Cadet Corps that this Legion sponsors. I am married to Rose for the past 46 years, have four children and seven grandchildren. We have lived in Sechelt for the past 12 years and have been a Legion member for 16 years. |

I was born and raised in Saskatoon, Sask. Married and have five children. Moved to B.C. in 1970 and to Sechelt in 1983. I have been a Member of the R.C.L. for 29 years and have held positions of first and second Vice, Public Relations and on Executive Committees. The Legion has been and always will be a very important part of my family. | |||
